Drivers in Ipswich faced delays after three-vehicle crash in Norwich Road

Drivers in Ipswich faced delays after a three-vehicle crash on a roundabout.

Police were called to the incident in Norwich Road just before 11.45am.

The road was partially blocked, with queues stretching across Chevallier Street and Valley Road.

The crash was damage only with no reported injures.

Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service was also alerted to what was initially believed to have been a car fire.

However, on arrival, there were no signs of fire, and before handing the incident over to the police, the firefighters made the scene safe.

The incident has been cleared by 1pm.
