One person injured in crash on A134 in Ipswich

One person has been injured after a crash in Ipswich.

Police were called to the scene in the Yarmouth Road junction with the A1214 and West End Road at 7am.

A beige Seat crashed outside the Mermaid Pub, which caused it to block the junction.

Ambulance crews were called to the scene as one person suffered minor injuries.

They were taken to Ipswich Hospital for treatment.

A spokesperson for Suffolk Police said the road has been cleared so traffic can flow through.

Officers remain at the scene.

They are investigating to see if a second vehicle was involved.
