A spokeswoman for Suffolk Police said the force was likely be able to remove the lorry itself, meaning recovery was not required.

The route should be clear ‘sooner rather than later’, she added.

A spokesman for Suffolk Accident and Rescue Service (SARS) said the charity was called to the scene.

They checked one person over before they were taken to hospital by the East of England Ambulance Service.
