Main Road in Henley, outside Ipswich, blocked after crash involving car and van

A country road which forms a major route out of a Suffolk town has been blocked after a two-vehicle crash.

Police were called to Main Road, in Henley near Ipswich, at 7.52am, near the junction with Rede Lane, following reports of a collision between a car and a van.

Both lanes of the road were blocked for a time, but a Suffolk Police spokesperson confirmed this was no longer the case.

Recovery teams are on route.

No injuries have been reported, they added.
