Ipswich incident sees 15 police vehicles and cordon in place in Lindbergh Road




Lindbergh Road in Ipswich has been cordoned off following a large police presence in the area this afternoon.

Fifteen police vehicles are currently at the scene, including police vans.

Members of the rural policing team are also in attendance.

Reports on social media said the police dogs were also seen in Lindbergh Road and the cordon was put in place shortly before 1.45pm.

The ambulance service was also spotted at the scene.

Suffolk Police said they were conducting inquiries at an address following reports made to officers.

Lindbergh Road is still closed, a Suffolk Police spokesperson said.

Police have since revealed why they were at the scene.

A man was arrested in connection with the incident.
