Ipswich CCTV appeal for assault witnesses after man in his 50s suffers serious head injury

Police have released CCTV images of two men they believe witnessed an assault in Ipswich.

A man in his 50s suffered a serious head injury during the incident in Tavern Street at 5.30pm on September 9 .

The victim was taken to Addenbrooke's Hospital in Cambridge where he remains.

Bradley Gardener, 25, of Black Horse Lane, Ipswich, was later charged with causing grievous bodily harm.

Suffolk Police stressed they are seeking the two men as witnesses.

Inquiries into the crime are ongoing, and anyone with information on the two should contact Ipswich CID, quoting crime number 37/58279/22.
