Various Ipswich shops in Laburnham Close, Sheldrake Drive and Hawthorne Drive targeted in spate of shoplifting




Police are on the hunt for a thief who stole more than £200 worth of household items from various Ipswich shops.

Four shoplifting incidents have been reported in the Chantry area of the town this month.

Washing up goods worth more than £40 were taken from a store in Laburnham Close on June 4, while nine bottles of conditioner worth £35 were taken from a Sheldrake Drive store at around 10.50am on June 9.

Another store in Laburnham Close was targeted twice on June 10, with £50 of washing goods having been taken each time.

Around £76 worth of washing items were also shoplifted from a store in Hawthorne Drive on June 13.

Officers want to talk to the man in the above photos in connection with the incidents.
