Crown car park in Ipswich reopens after barrier issues

A busy car park in the centre of Ipswich which closed due to issues with the entrance barriers has reopened.

Ipswich Borough Council revealed that Crown car park, in Charles Street and behind Crown Pools leisure centre, was closed earlier today due to problems with the entrance barriers.

Motorists were advised to use alternative car parks.

At 4.05pm, a spokesman said the car park had reopened after engineers fixed the problem.
