Ormiston Endeavour Academy Ipswich changes school day due to Storm Ciarán Orwell Bridge closure

A Suffolk academy has had announced it has made changes to its school day tomorrow, due to the impact of Storm Ciarán.

In a post on Facebook Ormiston Endeavour Academy in Ipswich confirmed that children would be asked to arrive at school later in the morning due to the expected closure of the Orwell Bridge.

The school said: “The Orwell Bridge will be closed from midnight for 24 hours which will cause traffic problems in and around Ipswich affecting staff and students arrival to the academy.”

It continued: “Tomorrow only students are to arrive by 9.30am and registration will happen in period 2.”
