A14 drivers face delays near Ipswich after broken down horsebox sees one lane shut

A14 drivers are facing delays on the busy road after a breakdown on the east-west route.

Drivers on the eastbound A14 near Ipswich are being met with delays of around 20 minutes from Junction 54 after a broken down horsebox has seen one lane blocked.

The slow moving traffic is backing up to Claydon, with cars travelling towards Felixstowe and Ipswich adding to the tailbacks.

Traffic picks up its pace again after Junction 54, and drivers trying to get around the queues are also being met with jams in Sproughton and just off Junction 53.

Commuters travelling into Ipswich are also facing traffic misery, with Norwich Road slow moving because of roadworks and a crash.
