A14 traffic flowing again after car hits central reservation near Junction 54, Sproughton turn off
Traffic is flowing again after a car hit the central reservation on A14.
According to the AA, drivers were caught in ‘severe delays’ on the A14 near Ipswich after the incident, reported at around 1.25pm today.
Officers were called to the westbound carriageway near the Sproughton turn off at Junction 54, and a recovery vehicle was called.
AA Traffic Map showed queues back to the Copdock Interchange, at Junction 55.
Average speeds were down to 10 mph.
A spokesman for Suffolk Police said: “Traffic was moving again around 2.30pm to 3pm.
“Suffolk Highways are attending later to assess barrier damage.”
