Long delays on A14 after full closure in Ipswich due to police-led incident

Motorists are facing long delays on the A14 after the key road was closed in both directions due to a police-led incident.

The road was shut in Ipswich from junction 57 in Nacton to junction 56 in Wherstead.

It has since fully reopened — however, the AA Traffic Map is showing long delays in the area.

Police urged motorists to avoid the area if possible.
