Singer Angie Brown to appear at Haverhill Music Hub in Piperell Way during free event




A singer who performed on an iconic 90s track is hoping to inspire musicians at a meet and greet in a Suffolk town this weekend.

Angie Brown will be answering questions about her career in the music industry at a free event at Haverhill Music Hub on Saturday, August 3.

The singer- songwriter sang on Return of the Mack by Mark Morrison in 1996 and was the co-artist on dance hit I’m Gonna Get You alongside Bizarre Inc.

Brown has also performed as a backing singer for major artists including the Stereophonics and Rolling Stones.

Chesney Mumford, from the Haverhill Music Hub, said the event should be a fun day and is open for anyone to come along:

He said “It will be a meet and greet for people inspired to become professional musicians.”

It is hoped that Brown may perform at the event, which will run between 11.30am - 2.30pm at the hub in Piperell Way.
