Properties in Tower Court and Orbell Avenue, Haverhill, raided by police as woman arrested on suspected drug offences




A woman in her 50s was arrested on suspected drug offences after two town properties were raided by police during the same day.

The first of two court-issued search warrants took place at a property in Tower Court, Haverhill, at 3.30pm on Monday, March 3, where a large quantity of class B drugs and cash were found.

Alongside the address, a linked vehicle was searched and a large quantity of cash, class B drugs and mobile phones were found and seized.

A second search took place at a property in Orbell Avenue where officers seized a large quantity of class B drugs, cash and mobile phones.

A 54-year-old woman was later arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply class B drugs and concealing criminal property.

She has since been released under investigation.

The searches were a collaborate effort between Haverhill and Sudbury Community Policing Team and the Kestrel Proactive Crime Team.
