Trees and sheds catch on fire in Haverhill
Fire fighters were called to extinguish a fire involving trees and sheds in Haverhill yesterday.
It happened in Colbeck Road at about 4.40pm.
Two crews from Haverhill attended, and the fire was under control by 5.51pm.
A spokesperson for Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service said: “initially one crew from Haverhill was mobilised. Fire Control received subsequent calls stating that multiple sheds were on fire and so a second crew was mobilised from Haverhill.
“Crews fought this fire using two hose reels, two jets, two breathing apparatus, a thermal imaging camera and a short extension ladder.”
