Two women aged 30 and 25 and a man aged 23, all from Haverhill, have been arrested and bailed in relation to drugs offences.

On Tuesday July 14 at approximately 1.30pm, police stopped and searched a vehicle that had been seen being driven in a suspicious manner in the Greenfields Way area of Haverhill.

The three were detained for a drugs search and a quantity of cash was seized. All three were then arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to supply class A drugs.

The vehicle was seized as there was no MoT or insurance for the car, and addresses linked to the three arrested were searched.

Police found 40-50 individual wraps of a substance, believed to be a class A drug, and drugs paraphernalia at one property and a small amount of a drug, believed to be heroin, and paraphernalia at a second address.

All three of those arrested have been bailed to return to Bury St Edmunds Police Investigation Centre on September 7.
