Allington Walk play area, in Haverhill, closed by West Suffolk Council

A children’s play park in Haverhill has been temporarily closed by West Suffolk council.

The play area known as Allington Walk, or the Parkway play area, is currently shut due to ground conditions.

A council spokesman said: “The play area is closed as the ground there is boggy which in turn could make the equipment dangerous to use.

“We are monitoring it and as soon as the ground has dried out, we will be reopening the play area once more.”
