Scrambler bike seized in Haverhill as rider was travelling dangerously at high speeds




Police have seized a scrambler bike in a Suffolk town.

Officers had been made aware of a scrambler bike that was travelling dangerously at high speeds on footpaths in Haverhill on March 16.

The rider had reportedly come in close contact with pedestrians.

A Haverhill Police spokesperson said the bike was later tracked down to an address.

It was then seized for destruction under Section 165A of the Road Traffic Act as it was not road worthy or registered.

It also had no insurance and the rider had no driving licence.
