Police seize drugs after stop and search at Haverhill Recreation Ground

Police officers on patrol in Haverhill seized drugs after they stopped and searched two people at the town’s Recreation Ground on Wednesday.

The search was carried out by Haverhill team three and the local beat officer.

On their Facebook page, the police said: “This was made possible with the help of a multi-agency approach in conjunction with West Suffolk Council CCTV operators.”

Once outstanding inquiries have been carried out, a charging decision will be made.
