A1017 Haverhill crash victim dies in Addenbrooke's Hospital, Cambridge, days after being hit by car
A man who was hit by a car on the A1017 at Haverhill has died in hospital.
Police were called to the scene shortly before 10.30pm on Thursday following reports of a red Hyundai Getz having hit a pedestrian.
The pedestrian, who was aged in his 40s, was taken to Addenbrooke's Hospital, Cambridge, where he died as a result of his injuries on Sunday.
Officers are appealing for witnesses to the crash, with anyone with information asked to call 101 quoting CAD 412 of August 19.
