McDonald’s drive-thru now open in Bumpstead Road, Haverhill

A new McDonald’s restaurant employing more than 100 people has welcomed customers for the first time.

The fast-food chain opened its 121-seater drive-thru restaurant in Bumpstead Road, Haverhill, this morning.

Open 24 hours-a-day, seven days a week, the McDonald’s features a large outside patio area and smart digital drive-thru menu boards.

Ahmet Mustafa, who owns the restaurant, as well as others in Suffolk, said: “We are delighted to be opening another brand-new McDonald’s restaurant in Haverhill and can’t wait to see local customers, both new and old, enjoy our services on offer.

“People are at the heart of our business, and we look forward to welcoming new employees with the jobs our restaurant will create.”

The restaurant has created about 110 new full and part-time jobs.

Delivery from the new McDonald’s will be available from August 29.
