Manhunt after jewellery shop theft in Newmarket

Rings were stolen in a raid on a jewellery shop in Newmarket on Friday, March 21.

The incident happened on Friday March 18 at around 2.20pm in High Street.

A man entered the shop, posing as a customer, asked to see two rings and then snatched them from the shop assistant. He ran off down Sun Lane.

The shop assistant was not injured.

The offender is described as a white man, with auburn coloured hair, between 20 to 30-years-old, of a slim build, clean shaven, was wearing a black coloured suit and tie, and black Nike trainers.
