Man suffers head injury after being assaulted in Haverhill
Police are appealing for witnesses after a man suffered a head injury in an attack in Haverhill - the third serious assault on a man in the town in five days.
Officers were called just after 6.10am on Sunday by the ambulance service who were treating a man in his 20s who had been assaulted in the area of the car park on Lower Downs Slade.
The victim had been struck on the head, potentially by an object. He suffered a minor injury.

Officers are conducting enquiries in the area where the assault happened and will be talking with the victim.
