A1017 crash at Haverhill sees male pedestrian taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries
A man has suffered life-threatening injuries after he was hit by a car on the A1017 at Haverhill.
Emergency services were called before 10.30pm yesterday following reports of a red Hyundai Getz having collided with a pedestrian.
The male pedestrian, aged in his 40s, was taken to Addenbrooke's Hospital, Cambridge, where he remains in a life-threatening condition.
Witnesses or anyone driving in the area around the time of the incident are asked to call 101 quoting CAD 412 of August 20.
