Man arrested and suspected class A drugs seized after police raid a property in Haverhill

Police arrested a man yesterday in connection with drug offences in Haverhill.
Officers conducted a search warrant at a property in Withersfield Road in the town at about 11.15am.
As a result of the search officers recovered a black plastic bag containing suspected drugs.
A 47-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply class A drugs and was taken to Bury St Edmunds Police Investigation Centre for questioning.
He was subsequently released to answer bail on December 17, pending further enquiries.
