Linton school children get a taste of some Mad Science
Science need not be dull and dry, and that’s just what pupils at a Linton school discovered when a series of fun and exciting experiments were carried out by a visiting science enrichment provider.
Mad Science, which delivers hands-on experiments to children to show how the subject can be fun, visited Linton Heights Junior to excite its pupils about science.
Cosmic Karen, one of Mad Science’s instructors, showed pupils the magic behind during workshops and an assembly.
This included dry ice, showers, flying toilet paper (called Terrence!), flash paper, which disappeared when lit accompanied by a big flash, and much more.
