Linton has every reason to crow about its new community event

Linda Read, Peggy Chapman and Colleen Lockstone are pictured with ‘Mr McGregor’, from Peter Rabbit, whom they helped make along with Jan Shepherd for the first ever Linton Scarecrow Festival, which took place last weekend.
Other than scarecrows on show, the festival also featured lots of activities based at Camping Close, St Mary’s Church and Linton Infants School, across Saturday and Sunday.
