All manner of Africa-related things were going on at Kedington Primary Academy, as children spent the week learning more about the continent.

The studies were part of the school’s celebration of International Week and saw pupils learn African dancing, cooking, make instruments, animal masks (as shown) and models of African animals, try out some traditional art (batik and tye dying) and learn African stories.

They all researched a different African country and learnted a few words in different African languages.

Their grand finale was a show for parents of the dances and some of the work from the week.
