Dad and stepson brave the barbers' chair to help The Little Princess Trust
A dad and his stepson both took to the barber's chair on Saturday to raise money and provide some hair for the Little Princess Trust.
After almost four years of growing his beard, Dave Hanna, 37, of Greenwood Close, Haverhill gave the whole lot up, along with all of his hair, for the charity.
Eight-year-old Tye Mahoney Adams joined Dave at MR Barbers in Queen Street, Haverhill, as his long hair was chopped off, although not as drastically as his stepdad.
Tye follows in the footsteps of his sister Bradi-Mai, who had her hair cut off four years ago for the same charity.
Dave, who together with Tye, a pupil at Burton End Primary Academy in Haverhill, raised about £180 for the charity, said: "It felt very strange, i've never had my hair this short before."
Although Dave said he offered MR Barbers money for their work, they kindly waived any charge for their time.
