Double sporting success for Linton schoolchildren

Pupils at Linton Heights Junior School have been flexing their sporting muscles to impressive effect by winning two inter-school competitions in just five days.
Firstly, the running team, (pictured with head teacher James Puxley, right, and sports coach Dan Penfold) won the cluster schools 2K race at Great Abington School.
The cluster includes schools in Great Abington, Castle Camps, Balsham and Burrough Green and It was the first time Linton Heights had won the event.
Five days later the cricket team won the South Cambs Year Three and Four Kwik Cricket tournament.
