Cineworld Haverhill set to reopen this week

Cineworld announced on Monday that it will be reopening its cinemas in England this Friday, including the one in Haverhill.

In its statement, the cinema chain said: "In line with recent changes to upcoming film release dates, we have made the decision to move our re-opening date to 31st July for our cinemas in England.

"At Cineworld our main priority remains the safety of our customers and staff. "

Cineworld has put numerous safety measures in place at its outlets, including installing hand sanitizer stations, social distancing, e-ticketing, staggered film times, plastic screens at the tills, anti-bacterial hand soap in all toilets and providing PPE to staff where a risk assessment has deemed it necessary.

Cineworld closed all its venues down in March due to the coronavirus crisis.
