A charity football match played at Linton Village College on Saturday has raised at least £770 for Cancer Research UK - beating the total it has raised in the previous two years it has been staged.
The Alan Gribble Trophy is named in memory of a Steeple Bumpstead dad-of-three who died of cancer in September 2015, aged 56, and was organised by his son Hayden, who said: "To see how much is raised is incredibly rewarding."
Thomas Sowden's shirts beat Ross Bronson's bibs 3-2 to lift the trophy.
