CCTV of man wanted in connection with Newmarket jewellers theft released

Police have released CCTV images of a man they would like to speak to following the theft of two rings from a jewellery shop in Newmarket.

The incident happened last Friday, March 18, around 2.20pm in High Street.

A man has entered the shop, posing as a customer, asked to see the rings and then snatched them from the shop assistant. He ran off down Sun Lane.

The shop assistant was not injured.

The offender is described as a white man, with auburn coloured hair, between 20 to 30-years-old, of a slim build, clean shaven, was wearing a black coloured suit and tie, and black Nike trainers.
