Appeal after assault caught on CCTV

Police have released a CCTV image of two men they would like to speak to following a previously publicised incident in Haverhill where a man was assaulted.

The incident took place between 2.30am and 2.45am on Sunday, May 31 in the High Street.

The 21-year-old victim was assaulted, suffering minor injuries for which he required hospital treatment. The attack is believed to have taken place across the road from Boots.

Police would like to speak to the two men circled in the CCTV image about this incident. Both men are believed to be aged in their mid to late twenties.

The first is described as around 5ft 8in tall, of medium to stocky build, with short blonde/fair hair. He was wearing a white t-shirt with dark patterned sleeves and a logo/writing on the front, dark-coloured trousers and black trainers.

The second man is described as being 6ft tall, of large build, with short dark hair. He was wearing a dark short-sleeved shirt, with dark horizontal stripes, blue jeans and dark shoes.
