Framlingham A-level results: Thomas Mills High School
Students at Thomas Mills High School celebrated some excellent A-level results where nearly three quarters of students achieved A* to C grades.
The school, in Saxtead Road, Framlingham, said the majority of students had progressed onto their chosen university courses or apprenticeships.
Andrew Cann, assistant headteacher and head of sixth form, said he was ‘very proud’ of the students’ performance.
“The results pay testimony to the hard work, dedication, commitment and determination of the cohort and they reflect the professionalism and support of the teaching staff,” he said.
Around 20 per cent of the cohort achieved at least A grades in all subjects.
Particularly notable for achieving A* and A grades were Eva Balding, who studied biology, geography and German; Jamie Bennett, who took mathematics, further mathematics and physics; Edie Evans, who studied biology, chemistry and art, among others.
Philip Hurst, headteacher, said: “We congratulate our students on their well-deserved success and we wish them well in the next, exciting stage of their lives.
“It’s been great seeing their tremendous personal development and resilience – they’ve contributed so much to the school and sixth form and we will miss them.”
