Ed Sheeran visits Framlingham curry house after Platinum Jubilee performance at Buckingham Palace




Suffolk superstar Ed Sheeran was spotted picking up a curry from his local takeaway after his Platinum Jubilee performance on Saturday.

The singer was pictured in Curry India in his hometown of Framlingham following his performance of 'Perfect' which closed the Buckingham Palace concert.

Millions tuned into the performance and heard Ed tell crowds he was planning to pick up a curry on his way home.

In a post on social media, Curry India Framlingham, which is based in Station road, wrote: "Legend back from Platinum Jubilee and had his 'paneer tikka chilli massala'.

"Thank you very much - Our local hero you are such a wonderful person."

"Money doesn’t change you...we are proud of you. Thank you for your time. Kids was very happy to see you," owners added.

Before his performance, Ed told BBC presenter Anita Rani: "For me, this is kind of like a full circle, nostalgia moment because this is the event that I picked up guitar at 20 years ago after seeing Eric Clapton playing on stage.

"And then I got to play it 10 years ago for the Diamond Jubilee. It's really really nice to be back, it's just a great atmosphere here."

Curry India's post featuring selfies with the 31-year-old has garnered over 130 likes.
