Suffolk Police appeal after cyclist injured in fail to stop collision between Snape and Tunstall




Police are appealing for witnesses after a car failed to stop following a collision with a cyclist in Suffolk.

The incident happened at about 4.15pm on Wednesday, August 23 on the B1069, between Snape and Tunstall.

The cyclist was riding towards Tunstall, when he was involved in a collision with a red Nissan Juke travelling in the same direction and the driver of the Nissan Juke failed to stop.

In addition to the bike being damaged, the cyclist suffered bruising and grazes.

The nearside wing mirror of the Nissan was knocked off during the incident and left at the roadside. The car would have also sustained other damage to the nearside front of the vehicle.

Officers would like to hear from any witnesses to the collision and are appealing for any motorists driving in the area at the time with a dashcam in their vehicle, to review the footage for any material that may be of assistance.

They would also like to hear from anyone who believes they may have recently seen a red Nissan Juke with a missing wing mirror or other nearside damage.
