Car seized in Saxmundham after person discovered to be disqualified from driving

A car was seized by police in a Suffolk town after a person was discovered to be disqualified from driving.

On Monday, officers stopped a car in Saxmundham while responding to other emergency calls in the area.

A Halesworth Police spokesperson said the car was not insured and after further investigation the driver was also found to be disqualified from driving.

The vehicle was subsequently seized.

The driver was then interviewed and reported for the offences.
