Felixstowe and Bawdsey issued with flood warning due to Storm Corrie
A flood warning remains has been issued for part of the Suffolk coast this morning due to Storm Corrie.
The Environment Agency has said that 'minor flooding' can be expected on coastal roads and footpaths between Felixstowe and Bawdsey from 9.15am and 1.15pm today.
Tides are also expected to be higher than usual.
In a statement on their website, the Environment Agency said: "Areas most at risk are Bawdsey Quay and in front of the flood defences at Felixstowe Ferry hamlet.
"Take care on coastal roads and footpaths, and don't put yourself in unnecessary danger."
Flood alerts remain in place along the coast, meaning that flooding is possible between Lowestoft and Bawdsey.
