Bungalow blaze in Fleetwood Road, Felixstowe, sees eight crews tackle flames over 7 hours
Eight fire crews battled a blaze at a Felixstowe bungalow for seven hours after a roof went up in flames.
Emergency services were called to the scene in Fleetwood Road at around 2pm following reports of smoke and flames coming from a house. The fire was extinguished shortly before 9pm.
The road was closed while crews from Ipswich East, Ipswich Princes Street, Woodbridge and Felixstowe tackled the flames.
Ambulance crews were also on the scene but a Suffolk Fire and Rescue spokesman said no one was injured in the fire and that 'everyone is safe'.
He added: "The neighbouring properties are safe from the blaze as the crews have contained the blaze and have it under control.”
