Emergency services called to two separate crashes in Castleton Way, near Eye

Drivers faced delays on a road near Eye this morning after police were alerted to two separate crashes.

Officers were called just before 8am to a two-vehicle crash in Castleton Way.

The ambulance service also attended the scene, and according to a police spokesperson, only minor injuries were reported.

About an hour later, police were alerted to another crash involving a single-decker bus, which collided with a garden wall.

No passengers were on board and no injuries were reported.

The road, which is partially blocked, is set to be closed to allow for the recovery of the bus.
