VIDEO: Hogg’s frustration at Bury’s inconsistent performance

Bury St Edmunds’ director of rugby Gavin Hogg gave his post-match reaction on Saturday’s home defeat to Redruth to sports editor Russell Claydon.

The Wolfpack went down to their first defeat of the season at The Greene King IPA Haberden against their Cornish visitors at the weekend, losing 35-22.

Hogg had called for ‘a complete performance’ heading into the match, so was left disappointed as slips in concentration allowed Redruth to go into the interval with a 26-5 lead, ultimately giving his side too much to do.

The result, following three wins from three on home soil this season, while they have lost their three away matches, sees Bury drop a place to eighth ahead of a daunting trip to league leaders Chinnor on Saturday.
