Bury St Edmunds performance bike shop Revel Outdoors has renewed its sponsorship deal with elite cross country mountain bike team Renvale RT.

The team had an excellent 2014 season with many podiums and as a consequence it has recruited more riders and bigger sponsors for an even better 2015 season.

Speaking at the 2015 launch of the team, Revel Outdoors’ owner Jamie Wightman said: “Over the past year, the Renvale team has given us a great opportunity to show off our best products being used in anger by some of the country’s best riders.

“We are really pleased the team is expanding and getting stronger for the 2015 season, and we look forward to supporting them with the latest top-of-the-range mountain, road and cyclocross bikes from Cannondale.”

The team completed their launch weekend with several riders competing in the popular Thetford Winter Series held in Thetford Forest.

The team came away with some excellent race results — first and second place in the four-hour senior male category; first, second and fifth in the two-hour senior male category and second in the two-hour female race.
