BREAKING: Mildenhall Town name Greygoose as permanent manager
Mildenhall Town FC have announced that Dean Greygoose has been appointed permanent first-team manager, after a successful spell in interim charge of the Hall.
The former Bury Town goalkeeper who began the season in charge at Haverhill Rovers before moving into a number two role at basement side Diss Town, has steered Mildenhall from six points from the bottom three to breaking into the top 10, since making the move in late November.
Hall currently sit ninth in the Thurlow Nunn League Premier Division table with Greygoose’s side having won three of their last six and having a record of seven wins, one draw and 10 defeats from his 18 games in charge in all competitions (38 per cent win ratio).
Mildenhall chairman Martin Tuck released a statement last night, following Saturday’s 3-2 defeat at third-from-bottom FC Clacton, saying: “Dean has shown exceptional drive and passion while at the club as Interim Manager since his arrival last November.
“I am very please that he has accepted the role on a permanent basis and I am looking forward to working with him going forward to fulfil the progressive ambitions that he shares with the club.”
