Members of the Bury St Edmunds Woodturning Club have carved about 100 traditional wooden Christmas decorations to raise funds for East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices.

The festive items will be sold from the charity’s shop, in St John’s Street. The club meets monthly at DJ Evans Ltd, in St Botolphs Lane and has about 40 members.

Shop manager Stuart Basten said he was ‘confident’ the decorations will be popular with customers.
