Bury St Edmunds woman Peyton Mcarry banned from keeping animals after encouraging dog to bite police officer




A 29-year-old woman has been disqualified from keeping animals for five years after encouraging her dog to bite a police officer.

Peyton Mcarry, of Chalk Road South in Bury St Edmunds, appeared before Suffolk Magistrates’ Court on Friday, August 9, where she admitted to being in charge of a dog dangerously out of control.

She was fined £120, ordered to pay £85 costs and a victim’s surcharge of £48.

The incident was on January 24 where Mcarry encouraged the dog, a Mali cross, to bite the officer while they were on duty at her home.

The officer was unhurt in the incident and the dog was put down by a vet.
