Why you might have seen Elveden Forest Center Parcs on TV last night

Channel 5 aired a documentary on the history of Center Parcs last night, and for those paying attention you will have spotted one particular resort.

The Elveden Forest resort, built in 1989, made an appearance.

The site covers 400 acres of land, and, according to the programme, was built on an area that originally housed munitions during the second world war.

As well as featuring the Thetford site, the documentary chronicled the company's inception, its clashes with environmental protestors, and what goes into making the business a success, from staff to senior management.
