Bury St Edmunds police incident - man detained near Wetherspoon's

A man has been detained by officers after an incident in Bury St Edmunds.

Four police cars were spotted around the Traverse / Abbeygate Street area this afternoon (Wednesday, July 24) near to Wetherspoon's.

Suffolk Constabulary were called at 3.50pm and said this related to a fail-to-stop incident.

The force is expected to release more information if the man is taken custody.
