South Lee said: “This distinguished recognition highlights the school's commitment to providing an outstanding and engaging pupil experience. The achievement reflects the dedication of the staff, the enthusiasm of the pupils, and the support of the entire school community.”

Acting head, Sarah Catchpole, said they were ‘very proud’ to be shortlisted.

"This honour acknowledges the dedication and hard work of our entire school community,” she said. “At South Lee Prep School & Nursery, we aim to deliver an exceptional experience that integrates academic excellence, robust pastoral care, and a wide range of extracurricular activities.

“Our goal is to nurture well-rounded, resilient individuals, and we are thrilled to have our efforts recognised.”

In addition to the nomination, South Lee Prep School is also responding to growing demand by expanding its nursery provision by an additional 24 spaces.

The school said this expansion was a clear indicator of the school's commitment to meeting the needs of the community and providing exceptional educational opportunities from an early age.
