Question of the week: people in Bury St Edmunds town centre are asked 'have you turned your heating on yet?'

This week multi media students from West Suffolk College have been asking shoppers in Bury St Edmunds if the cost of living crisis has stopped them from turning on their heating.

It is a question that often divides most couples, however the general consensus from those out and about in the town centre was that they would be putting it on - eventually.

The students asked the people they spoke to explain the reason, they were, or were not, putting on their heating.

One man was adamant that his heating would not be switched on before October 1 (tomorrow), whilst a lady said she was trying to stop her boyfriend from switching their heating on too early.
